Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager - Power Program Operations this position is responsible for operational support for feed-in tariffs and administration of PPA
contract as it relates to performance of the electric supply system on Long lsland.

This is a multi-level growth series position, the title, grade level and incentive target assigned to the successful candidate will be determined by assessing skills and related experience, learned through the interview process.
If an internal candidate is selected they will move laterally at their current grade level and will not be eligible for a promotion at the time of accepting this position. This applies to candidates moving within the same career path (e.g., analyst, supervisor, engineer), or to a different career path (e.g., analyst to engineer, supervisor to analyst). The selected candidate will have an opportunity to be promoted within the career path during an annual review.

Job Responsibilities

Provide bidding support and data to Energy Resources and Trading (ER&T) for the daily and hourly biddng of generating units into the New York lSO. Perform
on-site monitoring of tests required of generators under contract to LIPA including annual and seasonal testing and reporting of DMNC ratings, heat rate
performance and VSS testing. Data reports are updated on a daly, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual basis.
Administer the feed-in tariff programs for renewable energy resources by screening resources for eligibility, selecting resources for the programs, administering
the contractual arrangements for the resources, monitoring development progress, and preparing monthly reports for the RPS compliance and FIT program
status. as defined in the purchased power agreements and by the Tariff, monitoring development progress and preparing monthly reports for the Clean Energy.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Education, Skills, Competencies
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering field associated with power plant operations is required with 0-2 years of related work
experience for Associate Engineer, 2+ years of related work experience for Engineer, 4+ for Staff Engineer and 6+ years of related work experience for Principal Staff Engineer. •Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to travel to attend off-site generating unit tests, and •meetings on and off Long lsland is required. •Ability to respond to emergency storm and other conditions requires work during nights and weekend.

Desired Education, Skills, Competencies
•Excellent analytical skills with superior attention to detail •Strong knowledge of MS office including Excel. •An advanced degree, MBA or PE License or fundamentals of engineering is preferred. •Familiarity with power plant operations and testing is preferred along with knowledge of the NYISO rules and •processes, as well as knowledge of renewable energy plant development, construction and operation.
