Job Summary

This position reports to, and is responsible for working with, the Director - RTO Strategy to administer interconnection agreements and related agreements, including PSE&G's transmission legacy agreements, and will be responsible for all rules shaping/advocacy activity as pertains to interconnection issues at the RTO and federal regulatory level. This position has responsibility for external interfaces with PJM Interconnection LLC Staff, with other PJM Transmission Owners and with relevant interconnecting entities to advance PSE&G's business interests and discharge PSE&G's interconnection obligations. This position will represent the company's interests at various RTO committees and Task Force efforts as well as in meetings and initatives with other PJM transmission owners to promote effective interconnection policies. This position will also support PSEG Power interconnection work, including offshore wind-related interconnection activities, should PSEG Power need interconnection support.

This position will collaborate and have regularly interface with other business units, including PSE&G Electric T&D, PSE&G Asset Management as well as regulatory attorneys within the Law Department.

Job Responsibilities

•Work closely with the Regulatory group of the Law Department to draft and put in place interconnection service agreements with generators, Transmission Owner-Transmission Owner interconnection agreements, construction service agreements and Wholesale Market Participation Agreements. •Provide contract administration support, including identifying and tracking the administration of key contract terms, for interconnection agreements and Wholesale Market Participation Agreements. •Administer various legacy transmission agreements with other Transmission Owners, such as the Extra High Voltage (EHV) and Lower Delaware Valley (LDV) Agreements, which includes interfacing on a regular basis with these Transmission Owners through various committees and working with the Regulatory group of the Law Department on contract interpretation issues. •Ensure that interconnection and related agreements are reported and included in a timely and accurate manner in PSE&G's Electric Quarterly Report (EQR). •Develop PSE&G's regulatory strategy with respect to interconnection issues for implementation at FERC, PJM and the BPU. •Actively participate in relevant PJM committees and stakeholder groups representing PSEG's interests with respect to interconnection issues.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
•B.S. or B.A. Degree •Strong organizational and "issues tracking skills" •Minimum 5 years of experience with electric utilityregulatory issues, which may include experience with PJM issues/processes or that of another RTO/ISO •Minimum 5 years of contract negotiation and/or contract management experience •Excellent presentation/communication skills both verbal and written, are mandatory, as well as a sound understanding of project or contract management •Willingness to take initiative and "project manage" issues from start to finish •Demonstrated negotiating skill. •Ability to work well with multiple groups in a large organization and facilitate dialogue and issue resolution •Willing to travel •Must have valid driver's license
Desired
•Experience with PJM interconnection rules or with interconnection rules of another RTO/ISO process •Knowledge of the electric transmission and/or generation business.
