Job Responsibilities

Assist, observe, and mentor the instructor staff on implementation of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), including learning objective construction, training material design, setting selection, and exam construction.

Maintain/revise training procedures to meet continually changing industry standards and INPO ACAD accredited program design guidance.

Support training self- assessments, Accreditation visits, and Plant Evaluations.

Serve as the Department Training Coordinator (DTC) for nuclear training department.

Maintain industry participation and interaction. Work with INPO and industry working groups to standardize and streamline industry standards for training process requirements while still meeting all required regulatory commitments of 10CFR

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

B.S degree; preferably in education, instructional design, or organizational development or, 5 to 10 years of experience in training /education including at least two years directing/applying a systematic approach to training (SAT) (i.e. ADDIE or other TSD process).

A minimum of 2 years commercial nuclear power generation experience with accredited training and the National Academy for Nuclear Training processes.

Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must meet and maintain nuclear's requirement for unescorted plant access.

Desired:

BS degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or an Organizational Development Certification.

Demonstrated proficiency in adult education experience, accreditation experience.

Solid understanding of computer programs and interfaces that facilitate adult learning.
