This is Temporary Work Experience Program (WEP) position.
Only candidates from PSEG's Strategic Diversity Sourcing Partners and pipelines (e.g. PSEG Internship Program) are eligible

This is a Work Experience Program (WEP) Temporary position
designed to support the department for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the position is yet to be determined,
we currently anticipate a period of up to 12 months based on business needs at the present time, following which there will
be a possibility to convert the individual from a Temporary At-Will Employee to Regular At-Will Employee. It is important
for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future at which point you will separate
from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this WEP employment is of a limited duration and that you
will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level
approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 12 months of assignment.
If your WEP position ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other
PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the
end date of the assignment.
Job Summary
Human Resources supports the business functions across the
enterprise in areas that include: Employee Relations, Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management/Development,
Benefits Administration, Compensation, and Data Analytics. As companies reorganize to gain a competitive edge, HR plays a
key role in helping companies deal with an ever-changing environment and the greater demand for quality employees and business
continuity.
The primary function for this role is to assist with several ongoing and anticipated projects. Potential
assignments may include but are not limited to work on outreach and inclusion initiatives, and assist in the development of
talent management tools, communication planning, Talent Acquisition Operations support, Talent Development and Learning projects.
There is an opportunity to gain valuable exposure to several areas of the employee lifecycle such as; strategic sourcing,
branding and marketing, University Relations, Talent Management Development, and Talent Acquisition Operations. The ideal
candidate will be able to prioritize multiple projects and bring new ideas to the table.
Job Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Assist with adhoc HR projects to support other assigned functions
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
- Work with the external and internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Perform multiple tasks and assignments, with minimal guidance, to provide support on a variety of functions related to the department
- Collects and prepares data for a variety of reports, correspondence and documents
- Adhere to strict guidelines of handling confidential information

- Mailbox monitoring
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years prior work experience in a business setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to understand and comprehend Company policies/procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Preferred
- Prior Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's Degree
