Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of outage planning and preparation, schedule development and implementation.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of outage planning and preparation, schedule development and implementation.
- This includes monitoring, supervising and coordinating milestones, action items, budget, scope development and control.
- Ensure that outage schedule development, coding structures, layouts, levelization, update process and performance indicators are developed and maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring that Containment mobilization and de-mobilization plans and schedules are developed and maintained at industry top standards.
- Participate in industry working groups to identify opportunities for savings in cost, schedule and dose.
- Coordinate personnel staffing coverage for refuel and forced outages.
- Provide leadership and scheduling rigor at HIT, and Horizontal/Vertical schedule review meetings.
- Identify outage improvements/lessons learned needed to achieve and maintain top quartile performance.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
BS Degree in Engineering, Technical Degree, or Business Degree (PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent) and/or a minimum of 7 years technical experience in Nuclear or related power plant industry.
Must meet Nuclear's requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
Desired:
Knowledge of a commercial nuclear power plant (PWR or BWR). SRO License or Certification, and/or Power Plant System Engineering experience. Previous supervisory experience. Project Controls, Scheduling and/or planning experience in Nuclear or other Power Plant Industry preferred.
