This is Temporary Work Experience Program (WEP) position. Only candidates from PSEG's Strategic Diversity Sourcing Partners and pipelines (e.g. PSEG Internship Program) are eligible to apply. All other applicants will be disqualified.

This is a Work Experience Program (WEP) Temporary position designed to support the department for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the position is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of up to 12 months based on business needs at the present time, following which there will be a possibility to convert the individual from a Temporary At-Will Employee to Regular At-Will Employee. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this WEP employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 12 months of assignment. If your WEP position ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.

Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to support ad hoc and longer term projects in the Talent Acquisition Operations function.This includes reporting, dashboards, and auditing various processes. In addition, the role will include assisting with compliance related functions and other assignments to support peak periods of onboarding external hires.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist and project manage adhoc and longer term TA projects
  • Timely production of reporting and dashboards
  • Audit requisitions, applications, and offers for data quality and compliance
  • Work with the candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner
  • Support Talent Acquisition back office operations, especially during peak external hiring


Job Specific Qualifications

  • 3-5 years -Talent Acquisition
  • Yes - High school diploma

Additional Qualifications:
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to identify data quality issues; compare , investigate, and resolve discrepancies
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
  • Team oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing or HR function, or in data quality assurance

Desired:
  • Proficient with SAP and SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding systems
  • Talent Acquisition Operations or Reporting experience
