Perform various routine/non-routine administrative functions for the Engineering Department.

Job Responsibilities

•Assist managers and supervisors on individual projects or special assignments. •Maintaining and updating databases, personnel records, calendar and payroll records. •Compile, organize and type correspondence, forms and reports. •Answer telephone, direct callers and provide information as required. •Review SAP/CATS time entry reports for unapproved time and accurate cost assignments. •Coordination of engineering duty contact list, phone list, and organizational charts. Maintain controlled documents, order stationery supplies, process expense sheets. •Perform administrative coordination of various meeting bodies including writing meeting minutes. Attention to detail, customer/client focused and flexibility/adaptability essential.

Job Description:

Senior Administrative Associate for Hope Creek Engineering - Perform various routine/non-routine administrative functions for the Hope Creek Engineering Director and Department. Responsibilities include assisting the Director, Sr. Manager and Branch Managers with individual projects or special assignments as needed. Maintain and update databases, personnel records, calendar, payroll records, Empower, and FMS. Compile, organize and type correspondence, forms and reports. Answer telephones, direct callers and provide information as required. Review SAP/CATS time entry reports for time approval and accurate cost assignments and attendance tracking. Coordination of contact lists (both internal and external), organizational charts, and department roster. Maintain controlled documents, order and maintain office supplies, process expense sheets and travel requests and reports. Perform administrative coordination of various meetings to include assembly of meeting packages and support information, and writing meeting minutes which require close coordination with the Department Training Coordinator and Human Resources personnel. Organize meetings, schedule, and required travel for the Director and Sr. Manager. Compile and assemble information/data/presentations for various meetings and external stakeholder visits. Essential attributes: Attention to detail, customer/client focused, flexibility/adaptability, able to support refueling and mid-cycle outage schedules, and excellent verbal and written communication skills,

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:

HS diploma or equivalent. Proficient in SAP, Empower, FMS, and Microsoft Applications to include Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and Power Point. SAP proficiency must include work management modules, payroll, and in creating / processing notifications and corrective action program documents. 2+ years experience as an Administrative Associate. Must meet Nuclear's requirements for unescorted access and fulfill an Emergency Response Organizational position.

Desired Skills:

2+ years experience as an Administrative Associate at PSEG Nuclear. Business Administration or Secretarial Science Degree and/or College Level business or secretarial courses.
