Job Summary

The Performance Measurement Analyst will provide analytical and functional support for the Reliability Centered Maintenance Group. Proactively interfaces with all subject matter experts and process owners to support reliability and Electric Delivery's maintenance strategy. Candidate should possess a personal sense of excellence and dependability in ensuring the complete, accurate, and on time reporting of all assigned analysis projects. Candidate should possess strong analytic skills, the ability to work with large data sets, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with basic engineering concepts. Candidate analyzes and reports on key reliability metrics and measures through the collection, summarizing, and analysis of operational, non-operational, and financial data. Supports process documentation efforts. Proactively identifies and supports the implementation of process improvements in support of process excellence. Supports the implementation of new tools and technologies using process improvement tools and techniques.

Job Responsibilities

Works with PSE&G's Electric Asset Strategy team and other stakeholders to cleanse, transform, and analyze data to:
• Assess Transmission and Distribution System Health and Risk profiles • Enhance Transmission and Distribution System Maintenance strategies and plans • Optimize repair and replacement decisions • Support capital planning processes, financial risk assessment and budget development, • Integrate outside plant, inside plant, transmission overhead and underground lifecycle strategies
This position also requires the availability in the case of storm emergencies by periodically being on call for the Delivery Emergency Response Center (DERC) and storm restoration efforts.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:
• • BS/BA degree in Mathematics/Economics/Engineering/Finance or Business with heavy quantitative emphasis.
• 1 to 2-years of business analysis / professional experience working with large data sets
• Experience with Python, SQL, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
• Demonstrated analytical ability with strong oral/written and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate insights from data to our internal clients
• Organizational awareness and an overall operating knowledge of energy company field operations and processes.
• Applicant must have strong planning and organizing skills, must be adaptable and be results-oriented.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Must have a driver's license
