Job Responsibilities

Create and maintain official records of transactions for energy (electric or gas), capacity, and transmission in national, regional and Corporate record management systems. Work closely with all entities serving load in the PSE&G territory (including Third Party Suppliers and BGS/BGSS), and support wholesale electric settlement activities including completion of daily and monthly schedules, and negotiate resolution of problems and operating issues. Coordinate with suppliers and PJM to schedule all transactions and enter subsequent changes to transactions in the tracking and settlement systems. Analyze energy transactions and register or confirm transactions. Communicate with PJM suppliers and other organizations on a daily basis to maintain and insure accuracy of energy schedules and to negotiate and resolve problems. As an employee of PSE&G, you should be aware that during storm/outage restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and your regular work schedule. You may also be required to work in an alternate location.

Job Specific Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering or directly applicable experience • Minimum 1 year relevant work experience. • Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications and the internet. • Strong analytical and strategy development skills. • Ability to quickly resolve problems. • Must have a valid driver's license. • Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity. Successful candidate must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.

Desired Skills:
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Economics, Math or Business. • Demonstrated knowledge of PJM or Company systems and processes. • Basic understanding of energy settlement processes and systems, and electric and gas market processes. • Familiarity with Company tariff and contracts and computer applications.
