Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the PSEG-LI Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy department: primarily providing administrative support for the implementation of the Solar PV and Energy Storage Incentive Program. Additional responsibilities will be supporting the Dynamic Load Management Tariff Program consisting of the Demand Response Program and the Direct Load Control or Smart Savers Program.

Job Responsibilities include:


Manage program administration of the PSEG-LI Residential Energy Storage Incentive program. Manage Solar PV and Energy Storage program stakeholder engagement. Candidate will be a key resource for Renewable Energy contractors/developers assisting them to develop clean energy projects and help navigate them through the various Solar PV and Battery Storage programs and policies such as Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER), Community Distributed Generation (CDG), Community Credit incentive through VDER, Net Crediting program, Remote Crediting, Net Energy Metering (NEM), Time of Day rate, Customer Benefit Charge (CBC), and our Demand Response programs.
Track and report on Solar PV and Energy Storage metrics including coordinating with Project Management Office (PMO) and consultants to provide monthly Status Update Forms (SUF) and Quarterly Update Reports including both Qualitative and Quantitative Excel forms to generate Tableau Dashboards.
Provide administrative and stakeholder support for the Commercial System Relief Program (CSRP) and Distribution Load Relief Program (DLRP) as related to energy storage customers and aggregators. Provide support of newly proposed Direct Metering option for energy storage customers within CSRP and DLRP.
Provide administration support in the approval process of Solar PV applications submitted for Green Jobs Green New York (GJGNY) financing, affordable Solar PV incentive and NYSERDA’s Long Island Residential Energy Storage Incentive.
Support public policy stakeholder engagement process concerning DPS filings related to Solar PV and Energy Storage as it relates to New York State’s Clean Energy Goals.
Assess existing Solar PV and Energy Storage programs, in particular the Residential Energy Storage Incentive program as well as the Demand Response program for continuous improvement measures in order to enhance the functionality and increase participation of battery storage customers.
The candidate will become familiar with but not limited to the LIPA Tariff for Electric Service as it relates to Solar PV and Energy Storage, the Dynamic Load Management (DLM) Tariff, and the VDER Compensation methodology.
 

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 BA/ BS Degree preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science
 Minimum 5 years analytical experience
 Must possess exceptional customer sensitivity and commitment to customer satisfaction
 Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
 Must have excellent analytical skills and communication skills

 Candidate must demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills.
 Candidate must be detail oriented
 Must also have a sense of teamwork and initiative.
 Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Results oriented.
