Job Summary
The HR Talent Sourcing Partner will serve as a strategic outreach and diversity sourcing specialist focused on recruiting and hiring. This position will be accountable for executing the sourcing strategy for the company under the direction of the Manager, Strategic Sourcing and partnering with the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, advertising the jobs, preparing spend analytics, developing and conducting tactical and strategic sourcing for resources, evaluating sourcing partners’ performance, and preparing reports and analyses. The position is also responsible for representing PSEG at external events.
Job Responsibilities
• Serve as primary sourcer and recruiter for Strategic Diversity initiatives (i.e., Women, Veterans, and disability inclusion)
• Create strategic partnerships and relationships with organizations aligned with PSEG’s diversity sourcing strategy. Represent PSEG at external events.
• Identify and forge strategic partnerships with recognized professional organizations with a diversity focus on recruitment and entry-level talent. Coordinate and participate in career fairs, diversity sourcing events/initiatives.
• Interface with Line of Business Management in support of their sourcing activities to increase applicant pools for women, people of color, individuals with disabilities and veterans. Support local management in hiring initiatives.
• Build tomorrow’s workforce today with programs and partners who support diversity initiatives and promote diversity recruitment.
• Track engagement with community partners to measure which relationships are the most effective. Track and record referrals and communications with each organization to facilitate reporting.
• Own candidate relationships all the way to the point of an interview. Recommend and drive improvements with recruiters and interviewing teams to effectively screen and assess talent.
Job Specific Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience as a senior recruiter or sourcing specialist or track record of supporting company’s recruitment efforts. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years relevant experience as a senior recruiter or sourcing specialist or track record of supporting company’s recruitment efforts
• Experience or knowledge of field work recruitment
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Other qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to develop and implement strategies for recruiting candidates, including diverse sourcing; tracking leads from program events; conducting research and analyzing results for ROI
• Ability to create innovative strategies and events for enhanced branding to deepen partner engagement and recruit program participants
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with commitment and willingness to see issues through to resolution for an enhanced candidate experience
• 31-50% Travel to PSEG locations and program events
• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
