Job Responsibilities

The Engineer will:
• Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability •Monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability •Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability •Lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve system performance issues and perform system walk downs Ensure system readiness and compliance with design/ license basis. •Perform outage support work and Emergency Response duties

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:
• BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with 0-5 years Nuclear experience or equivalent.
• Good oral/communication for interfacing with a diverse work force
• Good written communication skills for development of Program documents, technical procedures and technical evaluations
• Possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Must meet Nuclear's requirements for unescorted site access

Desired Skills:
• Five years Nuclear experience
• SRO license/certification, System, Program or Design Engineering experience
• Prefer that a recent graduates possess a minimum of 3.0 or better GPA
