Job Responsibilities

The Engineering Response Team (ERT) Manager is responsible for addressing day-to-day Engineering related emergent equipment and operational issues via inter and intra-departmental teamwork at the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station.

Candidate experience must be related to either plant and/or design engineering and has demonstrated leadership skills to manage and partner with a diverse workforce.

Job responsibilities include managing Engineering tasks including: Engineering Evaluations, Engineering Change Packages (DCPs), Temporary Configuration Change Packages (TCCPs), Corrective Action Program Evaluations, Engineering Holds (on-line and outage), support Plant Engineering emergent design requests, Operability Determinations, Operation and Technical Decision-Making Documents, Complex Troubleshooting Leadership, and Emergent LCO support.

Position also serves as an Engineering Duty Manager (EDM), supports and manages shift coverage for refueling outages and Outage Control Center Engineering staffing while on-line, and participates in the Emergency Response Organization.

Understanding and use of applicable Reg. Guides, NUREGs, ASME, and IEEE standards as they relate to a General Electric BWR (Hope Creek).

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:

BS Degree in Engineering with approximately 5 years' experience in the nuclear industry; with at least 3 in engineering. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
•Technical Experience related to engineering support for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR).
•Must meet PSEG Nuclear requirements for unescorted site access.

Desired Skills:

Advanced Engineering Degree and/or PE License, System or Design Engineering Experience, SRO Certification or License, INPO Engineering Supervisor Professional Development Seminar.
•At least 5 years of Experience in an Engineering Supervisory position.
