Job Summary

Responsible for driving customer, contractor and trade ally engagement in energy efficiency programs accounting for $300-$400 million/year of investment through marketing, government/community partnerships, channels and trade allies to meet program goals for enrollments and customer engagement. Lead collaboration efforts among program management team, implementation contractors and key internal and external stakeholders. Ensure program marketing and promotions are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Must work in coordination with the Corporate Communications, Customer Campaign, and State Governmental Affairs (SGA).
Develop and drive customer trade ally acquistion strategy. Coordinate strategy and execution with internal marketing and communications teams, 4+ implementation contractor marketing teams, outside agency and 8-10 program managers. Identify target customers, trade allies, and market influencer audiences and develop related campaigns including messaging, materials, tactics and KPIs by sector and segment. Ensure that marketing campaigns are aligned and consistent with PSEG's corporate brand strategy.
Develop and deliver community outreach strategies that drive energy efficiency investments by encouraging outside organizations such as educational institutions, sustainability organizations, local governments and transportation authorities to take action (in coordination with SGA). Collaborate with community action agencies for underserved markets, enact local Chamber of Commerce and consumer campaigns, and coordinate with marketing campaigns.
Develop and maintain channels for energy efficiency programs. Research manufacturer/retailer resources for cooperative promotions, determine best practices and create upstream and midstream offers, and work with Marketing and the Government and Community Partnership team to drive participation via market influencers.
Develop and implement trade ally strategy/plans. Monitor trade ally performance. Coordinate with Technology Enablement team to ensure Trade Ally systems meet business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the coordination of internal marketing and communications team, implementation contractor marketing teams and outside agency to lead development of EE marketing strategy, branding and awareness.
Drive energy efficiency investment through community outreach by encouraging outside organizations to take action. Develop working relationships with regulators and community groups.
Develop and maintain channels for energy efficiency programs (retail/manufacturer/retailer resources, etc).
Develop, implement and monitor coordinated trade ally strategy/ plans.
Manage budgeting, forecasting and regulatory compliance for the outreach management function.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive program enrollment, customer engagement and trade ally engagement. Lead process improvement initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Lead/supervise team of direct reports by creating and fostering a culture of integrity, diversity, teamwork, comfort speaking up, safety and wellness. Evaluate performance, perform career development, coaching and counseling for 6 direct reports.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
•Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or finance required, or equivalent internal/external business experience •10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, with at least 5 year in energy effiency industry, and/or partnership development •At least 5 years of management experience which includes direct supervision of exempt salaried employees •Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed/cross-functional environment •Strong analytical and financial skills •Demonstrated leadership skills - must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity •Operational decision making skills, strong analytical ability, strong problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills •Ability to multi task and maintain high performance during periods of change and drive high standards for individual, team and organizational performance •Excellent teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills •Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills, and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval •Ability to develop solid working relationships with peers and individuals in other areas by understanding their perspectives and issues •Ability to lead through influence •Demonstrated judgment and decision making capabilities •Ability to foster and develop a positive team environment •Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
