Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

The Business Customer Advisor is a County and Municipal large industrial and commercial customer facing position directly accountable for relationship growth, customer perception, and the provision of utility services to a portfolio of approximately 50 - 100 Municipal large customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Position is available to respond to emergent customer requests 24x7. Portfolio includes customers with regional/national footprints and business travel may be required on occasion for industry conferences and/or customer meetings. • Position leverages large customer relationships to deliver customer advocacy in support of PSE&G strategic initiatives and regulatory filings. • Position serves as a single point of contact for assigned customers and serves as an interface between assigned customers and, meter to cash operating groups, electric and gas operating groups, asset management personnel, legal, regulatory and RES teams. • This position provides direct support to electric, gas and customer operating groups during storm events by coordinating communication with Municipal and County customers. Communications during storm related activities will be coordinated with Regional Public Affairs team. • Position maintains internal relationships with operating departments to effectively advocate for customer as a trusted energy advisor. • Position maintains and applies working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meets management's expectations for effective internal business controls. • Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to resolve complex Municipal and County customer issues, proactively manage escalated inquiries and interact effectively with customer and respective government officials. • Position may home base report and/or report to Central Electric Division based upon technical proficiency and operating experience of successful candidate and business needs at any given time. Position supports County and Municipal customers throughout PSE&G services territory.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
• B.A./B.S. Degree and/or greater than five years utility operating experience • Significant I&C account management experience with knowledge of lighting process, meter to cash processes, gas and electric tariffs, and electric and gas field operations. • Must have valid driver's license. • Ability to work independently.
Desired
• Operating experience with SAP-CRM, Salesforce, OMS and electric and gas work management systems. • MBA or Advanced Engineering Degree
