This is a multi-level growth series position (Grade Level 26/27). The title, grade level and incentive target assigned to the successful candidate will be determined by assessing skills and related experience, learned through the interview process.

This is a "Project" function designed to support project work for duration of an indeterminate period of time, currently anticipated to be 3 - 5 years based on business needs at the present time. However, this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future. This position has a defined employment start and termination date which carries certain Benefit Limitations (i.e., no separation benefits). Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities. During the final year of the limited duration assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.

Job Responsibilities

This Solar Analyst / Senior Solar Analyst position supports the Solar 4 All® (S4A) program Operations team. This position is responsible for conducting effective ongoing operations for 158 MW-dc of utility-owned solar projects. Responsible for ensuring critical S4A tasks are completed and in compliance of New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) order. Responsibilities include: conducting PJM energy sales, Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) management and transfers, capacity bidding, insurance management for solar plants, management of rent payments, and completion of several key BPU and NJ Clean Energy Program reporting requirements.

Must be able to work independently and creatively on special projects. Coordinate and communicate with PJM, New Jersey Clean Energy Program, BPU, S4A lease counterparties, and other stakeholders.

Job Specific Qualifications

Grade 26 Level:
•Bachelors' Degree •3 years' work experience in a role requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail •Knowledge of PSE&G S4A program and solar photovoltaic systems •Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large databases and recommend actions based on findings •Advanced Excel skills and related solar industry database experience •Proven ability to communicate effectively with key internal and external constituencies •Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity. Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.

Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience :
•Graduate degree in engineering, business, and/or solar related field. •Proficiency in PJM energy-related markets and activities. •Experience with PSE&G interconnection process for solar generators. •Experience with NJ Clean Energy Program SREC registration process. •Experience with solar generators.
