Job Summary

Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of electric vehicle projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness. 
•    Develop and maintain the processes for implementing electric vehicle energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
•    Interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
•    Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; Apply knowledge in emissions reductions measures and techniques to program and project oversight
•    Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction. 
•    Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors.  Review vendor deliverables.  Monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices.  
•    Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
•    Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management. Projects may include the installation of various utility capital assets such as transformers, poles and wires; and electric vehicle chargers energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as residential Level 2, mixed-use commercial Level 2 chargers, direct current fast chargers (DCFC) in community or highway locations HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program.
•    Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts
•    Assist with special projects as necessary.
•    During storm restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.

Job Responsibilities

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

  • B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy or electric vehicle programs, project management, customer service, or marketing, education, or outreach practices, construction, or related fields.  In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the space of energy or electric vehicle programs, project management, customer service, or marketing, education, or outreach practices, construction, or related field.
  • Experience processing milestone based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
  • Knowledge of emissions reductions measures, implementation, and cost
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
