Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only. Manages and directs the activities and performance of approximately 25 bargaining unit employees and 2 MAST Associates in support of approximately 500 MAST and Bargaining Unit employees supporting over 550,000 customers within Palisades Division.  Directs/coordinates the administrative activities/processes for the Construction, Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Meter & Inspection and Storeroom Departments within the division. 

Job Responsibilities

Review and follow corporate practices, procedures and ensure policies and business control directives are in compliance with PSE&G Standards of Business Controls. Perform self-assessments and monitor compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, corporate administrative policies, procedures, and Standards of Business Controls.
Proven skills in directing, supervising the administrative staff  in support of approximately 500 Mast and Bargaining Unit Employees within an Electric Operations Division supporting over 550,000 customers per division while recognizing diversity and ensuring inclusiveness.
Responsible for the oversight and management of procurement activities in the areas of purchase orders, requisitions, credit cards, service entries, goods receipts, journal entries and accruals.  Monitor accounting charges to projects and payroll hours and make corrections as needed to ensure accounting standards are met.
Subject matter expert with established results in the areas of Payroll Administration, Staffing Strategy/ Activity, Purchasing Cards, Local Cash Management, GIS Records, Accident Billing, Net Billing, Fiber Billing, CATV, and Sundry Sales. Interpreting Collective Bargaining Unit Agreements and working closely with Industrial Relations Department.
Sustained Integrity in ensuring corporate administrative policies and business control directives are in compliance with PSE&G Standards of Business Controls.  Including DOT/RSPA testing pools and maintain Division Affirmative Action Plan. Perform Self Assessments and monitor compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards.  Manage facility assets by tracking capital purchases in the GPE/PRU Database.
Act as Liaison between municipalities and vendors on issues related to traffic control, work practices and materials management.   Effective Customer Service and Teamwork skills in recognizing customer/client needs while meeting or exceeding their expectations.Job Specific Qualifications

• BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive background in Electric Utility Operations with broad knowledge of Electric Utility administrative processes, policies and
procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation and persuasive management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 7 - 10 years of Electric Utility experience.
• Vast knowledge and expertise of the Electric IBEW and OPEIU collective bargaining unit agreements.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in the instruction and training of personnel with various Electric Administrative work practices
and their use of related IT systems.
• Valid driver's license.
