Job Summary

The coordination of one of the following three maintenance areas ( Mechanical, I&C, Electrical ) accredited and non-accredited training activities/programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, observation, and technical guidance to improve line and station performance and meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop training materials, conduct, and present training.
• Assist subject matter experts in the development of training and implementation of training materials.
• Manage the Systematic Approach to Training and accreditation renewal activities for the assigned training program.
• Manage training intranet and VISION database.
• Assist line management in oversight of OJT/TPE activities for qualifications.
• Perform self assessments, benchmarking, and observations to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Partner with maintenance line management to manage, govern and monitor the maintenance training programs.
• Support refuel outages as assigned.

Job Specific Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Five years experience in training at a commercial nuclear power plant, naval nuclear propulsion plant or another similar industry and have knowledge commensurate with the position being sought (Mechanical/Electrical/I&C Maintenance).
• A combination of Training and Technical Maintenance experience within a Nuclear industry in any area of discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/I&C Maintenance).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Meet Nuclear's requirements for unescorted plant access.
