PSE&G is seeking one summer intern to work in the Gas Operations Business Development & Operational Support as a Marketing Support Analyst

Potential Job Duties:

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for Field Collection productivity and financial results. Analyze results, identify improvement opportunities and share/discuss with the District and FC Process employees. Assist in the implementation and tracking of improvement initiatives.

Prepare reports (daily, monthly, annually, ad hoc). Actively participate in data analysis and problem-solving initiatives; conduct gap analyses to determine root causes; develop and implement process improvement recommendations. Provide timely feedback to determine effectiveness of implemented solutions and take corrective action as required. Investigate client/customer concerns, issues and problems to determine root causes. Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. This position will support PSE&G's Collection Operations and will be responsible for data mining. The position at times requires travel and the successful candidate must be flexible with their work schedule.

Required Skills: Major in Business, Management, Data Science, or other related areas. All candidates must have completed sophomore year prior to the start of the summer internship program. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

3.0 GPA; Basic understanding of SAP applications .

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions. As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
