PSEG is seeking 6 summer interns to work in the Renewable Energy Solutions Team

As a member of the Renewables and Energy Solutions group, the intern will assist with the implementation of energy efficiency, electric vehicle, and / or clean energy jobs development programs. Job responsibilities may include:

Updating and tracking project plans, schedules and time lines for activities related to program implementation

Supporting development of, and documenting business requirements and practices related to new programs

Supporting development of scope of work for program vendors and suppliers

Evaluating products and services that could be offered

Performing research into industry trends and performing benchmarking of similar program approaches at other utilities

Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics, Energy and/or Environment related, or similar related major with a graduation date of December 2021 or May 2022 with the ability to work during the school semester beyond summer 2021. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.

3.0 GPA;

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions.

As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
