Job Summary

This is a "Project" position designed to support project work for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the project is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of 3-5 years based on business needs at the present time following which you will separate from the Company. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 3 years of assignment. From year 4 through the end of your assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.   Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness. Support program forecasting, budget tracking, and regulatory filings. Provide technical, financial, analytical and project management expertise to support the achievement of business goals and strategic objectives as part of PSE&G's Renewables & Energy Solutions group.  This position may support the Hospital, Multifamily or Direct Install programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects in accordance with requirements for BPU approved energy efficiency programs. • Interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely. • Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors. Review vendor deliverables. Monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices. • Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required. • Must be knowledgeable in Residential and Commercial & Industrial (One or both may apply depending on job requirements) energy savings measures and techniques. • Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction. • Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management. Projects may include the installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program. • Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts; Prepare monthly expense and capital forecasts. • Must be proficient with working independently while maintaining and applying working knowledge of PSEG Standards of Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. Assist with special projects as necessary. • During storm restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
• B.S. degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering or equivalent experience. • Five (5) years' experience related to managing Energy Efficiency Projects or Project Management of construction, HVAC or mechanical projects in Industrial or Commercial sectors. • Working knowledge of SAP. • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word) • Commitment to process and attention to detail are critical skills • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within PSE&G territory to conduct meetings with customers and constituents and manage relationships with contractors. • Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
