Job Summary

This position is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all Maintenance and Technical accredited training activities/programs by providing Training oversight/assessment and technical guidance to improve line and station performance and meet regulatory requirements in Maintenance (Elect, Mechanical, & I&C), Chemistry, Radiation Protection, Engineering Support, and Maintenance First Line Supervisor.
Development of mid and long term training plans.
Maintenance of the qualification health indicators.
Analyze, Design, Develop training, conduct and evaluate effectiveness of training. Assist limited Instructors/SMEs in the development of training. Monitor TSD and accreditation renewal. Manage training intranet and VISION database. Assist line management in oversight of OJT/OJE activities for qualifications. Perform self assessments and observations to identify strengths and weaknesses needing corrective action. Partner with maintenance line management to manage and monitor the training programs. Assist Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) Chairpersons to ensure CRC is identifying training solutions, performance issues, selecting Continuing Training topics and monitoring qualifications of personnel.
Support refueling outages and in-processing as assigned.
Support emergency response organization as assigned.
Participate on event response teams as the training representative.
Conduct causal analyses on issues related to training performance issues to identify corrective actions.
Participate in station causal analyses to help identify any potential training solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Job Specific Qualifications

•High School Diploma or equivalent (ANSI/ANS 3.1-1981). •5 years experience in Maintenance and/or training at a commercial nuclear power plant, naval nuclear propulsion plant or another similar industry and have knowledge commensurate with the position being sought (I&C and/or Electrical). •Good oral and written communication skills. Meet Nuclear's requirements for unescorted plant access.
